📅 On 23 September 2025, an online seminar “HEInnovate Action Cards” was held, organized by LUT University (Finland) within the framework of the EdUp Project – Support and Expansion of the Higher Education Sector in Ukraine in Resources and Technology (Erasmus+ Programme).

🎯 The event was attended by academic staff of Dnipro University of Technology, who are interested in developing innovative and entrepreneurial approaches to teaching.

About the Seminar 

🔹 The participants gained practical skills in working with HEInnovate Action Cards – a tool designed to assess and enhance the innovation potential of higher education institutions.

🔹 The session covered the eight dimensions of the HEInnovate framework, including strategic leadership, entrepreneurial teaching, digitalization, collaboration with business, and more.

🔹 The seminar was conducted by Professor Ester Bernadó Mansilla (Tecnocampus, Pompeu Fabra University, Spain), who shared her experience of integrating HEInnovate into teaching practice.

Results 💬

Following the seminar, the participants acquired new tools for implementing change in the educational environment, discussed examples of applying the Action Cards in different contexts, and established professional contacts with colleagues from the EU.

🧩 Participation in the seminar became an important step towards integrating innovative and entrepreneurial approaches into the educational programmes of Ukrainian higher education institutions.
